Thanks to everybody for making our "TRL" worship time this weekend a good experience. The songs you guys picked were excellent, and thematically fit the evening. Good work everyone.
On another note, I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be a "slave to righteousness". Most Christians I have asked can not define or even feign a decent understanding of this concept, and I find myself having a hard time fleshing it out as well. It's easy to give a pat answer for theological line-in-the-sand drawing, but practically quite difficult. I'll keep you posted...

I think we, Christians, have difficulty defining what being a slave to righteousness means because we have so long been a slave to sin - well, all our lives. Though we really enjoy the concept of being set free by Christ, we haven't fully assimilated to the lifestyle of His kingdom yet. I think we feel more comfortable being subservient to our previous master than our new one.
Something to ponder... thanks for the food for thought. I'll keep you posted if I stumble upon some brilliance.
